About Me
Then . . .

My name is Tess Perry and I am a fifth year undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia. I am graduating this year with a Bachelor of Education Degree with a focus on elementary education. I created this website based on research I have conducted for my guided reflective inquiry project to be presented at UBC's Okanagan campus on April 17th.
I am very passionate about my teaching career and enjoy spending everyday working with and learning from my students. I completed my practicum this year in a grade 2 classroom at Ellison Elementary in Kelowna BC. It was a very rewarding and educational experience that I am very grateful for. When I am not teaching I enjoy playing soccer, long boarding, traveling, hanging out with my family and friends, and spending time with my horses and dogs. When I graduate I plan on continuing my teaching career in a BC school district.
Thank you for taking the time to read my research and I hope you have gained some insight after viewing the information presented on this website.

And Now . . .
Well, A lot has changed since the beginning of this website. I am now a teaching in School District Number 23. I have had a few short contracts and I have done some TOC work in between. I have been teaching for 2 years and this information is more relevant to me as I head back to school at the University of British Columbia for my post-baccalaureate degree. I haven't even looked at this website since I have created it and a lot has changed due to personal experience. To see how my learning has evolved with this information, click here.
